Anti Corrosive Tar Coating, Black is a two component, viscous and brushable black epoxy coating formulated to guard metallic substrates against corrosion and chemical attack.

• Epoxy Tar Coating has excellent chemical (up to 50% acid or alkali concentrations) and corrosion resistance.
• It has good adhesion to both metal and concrete surface.
• It can withstand temperatures of up to 100°C. However, Anti Corrosive Tar Coating, Black would not be recommended for an environment with a combination of high acidity or alkalinity and high temperature.

Anti corrosive paints are used to coat metal surfaces where chemical corrosion is a problem. They can also be applied as in vessel or external protective coating where smooth and glossy chemical resistant surfaces are desired. Possible areas of application include process tanks and vessels, floatation cells, steel structural works and pipe-work common in most mines and plants.

• All dust, debris, rust or grease must be removed from the steel surface before the protective coating can be applied.
• Product should be stored in a cool dry place and should be kept away from children.
• Good industrial hygiene must be observed when working with Anti Corrosive Tar Coating, Black. Direct contact with skin, eye and mucous membranes must be avoided. Prevent solvent vapors from spreading by arranging efficient ventilation or wear appropriate respiratory protection. Splashes in the eyes must be removed immediately by careful and thorough rinsing with plenty of water.
• Individual components of mixed material must not be allowed to come into contact with foodstuffs.
