About QuipHire Africa
Quip Hire is a wholly owned African company which was established in 2011 with core business activities that included equipment hiring. The company has diversified into construction
related activities including but not limited to fibre deployment, plinth constructions and Installation of base station shelters and general civil engineering works.
Quip Hire is pursuing an ambitious growth strategy and positioning itself to become a leader in the information communication technology (ICT), plant and equipment hiring, construction
and civil engineering business in Africa. Just recently Quiphire has expanded into Zambia and is now registered as Quiphire Africa Limited.
Quiphire Operations in Zambia
To date Quiphire has done FTTH projects covering over 60KM in Lusaka and still doing much more work in 2016, This work includes all civil works, fibre blowing, splicing, testing and
commissioning of various sites and residential areas. Quiphire has done FTTH projects in the following residential areas in Lusaka -

- Arcades
- Sunningdale
- Kabulonga
- Kalundu
- Olympia
- Roma
- Woodlands
Expansion Plans
Quiphire is expanding into other SADC countries in 2016 notably Malawi, Botswana, DRC and South Africa.
Before the first quarter of 2016 comes to a close, Quiphire will have a strong
presence in East Africa as it spread its wings throughout Africa connecting Africa to the world.
The organisation is also making inroads into unrelated diversification as it starts moving into
the Agriculture sector driven by the need to alleviate poverty and hunger in African countries.
