It is a two-part elastomeric polyurethane-based sealant. It is available as twin-pack product consisting of a base compound and a curing agent, which when mixed, cure by chemical reaction to form TEJC -a very flexible and strong rubbery material.

TEJC has unique and versatile properties, which include:

• Forming elastic and flexible seals with a long life even when exposed to extreme weather or climatic conditions.
• Excellent adhesion to most common surfaces, which include concrete, ceramic, steel, wood and aluminum.
• Excellent colour retention and resistance to petrol and oils.
• Forms watertight joints even under the influence of continuous and cyclic movements, shock or vibration.

An oils, petrol and fats resistant and economical sealant for horizontal and inclined joints, suitable for joints up to a maximum width of 50mm in water reservoir floods, building basements, undercover parking and subways.

• Joint surfaces must be free from dust, grease and loose material, completely dry and clean. Remove all rust, scale and old paint by wire brushing, sand - papering or sand - blasting.
• Use of a clean, oil-free rag saturated with an organic solvent such as Techiad Thinners is recommended for non-porous surfaces; avoid use of soap, detergent or any water-based cleaner.
• When sealing an expansion joint, a firm backing to support the TEJC and to allow free movement is required. For a neat finish, the joint face edges must be covered with masking tape, which should be removed after the TEJC has cured.
• Priming is recommended for concrete, wooden and other porous surfaces .
• For best results, the whole contents of component A must be thoroughly mixed with the whole contents of the component B.
• The mixed material must be used within 30 minutes of mixing.
• Avoid repeated or prolonged skin contact. In case of contact with skin or eyes flush eyes with soap and water.
