On Wednesday 28 June 2017 A Clean Up Campaign Was Held In Ward 30 By The University Of Zimbabwe Medical Students And Council Staff Members.

 

 

 

Councillor Chimuteka Ward 5 who is a member of the Gender Committee and also the Chairman of the Social Services Committee Making a Presentation on the gender sensitization issues in Nheyewembwa traditional ward.

Murewa RDC was part of a strong cast of partners who participated in the National Aids Council (NAC) coordinated HIV and AIDS Music Gala held at Murewa Center on the 13th of May 2017. ZNFPC disseminated information on Family Planning & Sexual Reproductive Health.

Council has embarked on a poultry project with the capacity to produce 10 000 birds per month. Limitations are the market for the bird being a homogenous product and feeds. The council butchery has the capacity to sell only 300 birds per month at an average price of US$5 per bird.
